Renowned luxury watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre came to Los Angeles to launch its inaugural US activation, The Golden Ratio Musical Show. We were invited to support with sound, lighting, and video. The activation debuted in Shanghai, then moved to Westfield Century City to expand the conversation around design and watchmaking. The show tells the story of the Golden Ratio – the "unique mathematical formula that defines aesthetic harmony". British composer Tokio Myers performed the soundtrack to the piece with a full orchestra, against a giant water screen which was rear-projected with video imagery. This is how brands are telling their stories!

Popsugar Play/Ground was a remarkable one-day live event held at ROW in DTLA, focusing on fitness, entertainment, beauty, and fashion retail. The gathering was conceptualized and executed by Vox Media, while our beloved client, Proud Robinson, spearheaded the production, inviting us to provide sound, lighting, video display, cameras, power and broadband distribution. Just such a great way for brands to interact with consumers, and to get some solid socials coverage to help spread the word. Very fun, very positive; the perfect day off! Soundtrack is sweetest power-pop song ever, by Matthew Sweet.

March is historically our second-busiest month of the year, and 2023 did not disappoint. Oscar gigs and loads of activations and a huge awards show at the Beverly Hilton and best of all, Weezer at the Roxy! Thanks to son Charlie and GV for putting big acts in small rooms – so fun. Can ya tell we love what we do?!

New year brings new gigs and great hope for another great year. I have no interest in slowing down, and in fact we're working on something new and exciting for later... I haven't posted on the facebooks in some time, but I do post my fave gigs every month on our website. I'm mostly posting this to share the background music to this video from SAMIA - please love her as I do, and come see her at the Fonda on March 2.

Let's do the hard work and keep the sweet gigs coming!

Hard to believe that gaming generates more revenue than Television, Film and Music industries combined. That means big shows, baby. The League of Legends World Championship took place at the Chase Center Arena in San Fransisco this past weekend. This is a gaming competition that toured Mexico City, New York City, Atlanta then San Francisco. All in big arenas. The production was insane – we did the exterior podcast area and big activation. That's our trip – custom, difficult stuff for big events. Smash success thanks to Chris and his crew of geniuses - It rained a bit, but whatevs – we handled it. Thanks to ConCom and Riot Games for including us!

Sad music by Low – RIP Mimi Parker.

Our boy Charles graduated in the middle of the gross Pandemic when no one was working, but a year later he was the General Manager of The Roxy Theater on Sunset. Amazing - running the joint at 23. Now Olivia has graduated (this year), and at 22 was on the Late Show this week with Will Arnett. She is working full time as a stylist and is rubbing noses and picking out cool clothes for some of Hollywood's biggest and brightest. And best of all, Goldenvoice pays for Charlie's health insurance! Here is Olivia participating in a gag with Will and James Corden, and Charlie dealing with a riot outside The Roxy just a few months in to his new job.

GO GUYS, GO!
