When the Telluride Film Festival had to cancel, one of the big heartbreaks was not being able to screen Frances McDormand's new film NomadLand. But as we've all been pushed to get creative, so too did the Telluride peeps, and they brought the festival for one night to the Rose Bowl. Lucky us! We did a wicked-cool drive-in as guests of Steve Allison of TIL and Fox Searchlight for this premier. Note the color of the skies - horrible smoke from the fires that are still burning gave our masks dual purpose. So sad, but so nice to have a couple of hours of semi-normalcy enjoying this amazing film outdoors with 600 of our closest, distantly masked friends.
